About
Josephine Veelenturf is an illustrator, cartoonist and storyteller from the Amsterdam, the Netherlands, currently based in Viborg, Denmark.
She graduated from St. Joost School of Art and Design with a bachelor in Illustrated and Animated Storytelling in summer 2024. During her studies Josephine took an exchange semester at The Animation Workshop in the Graphic Storytelling class, where she futher developed her skills as a storyteller and artist. In fall 2023 she interned with Sabrina Kooijmans, where she kicked off her carreer in the European comic field.
Crafted with bucketloads of love and dedication, Josephine strives to tell wholesome, captivating stories inspired by nostalgia and her childhood. She is a hard worker with a lot of passion, thriving in a team as well as individually.
